Bupa Cashmere View Care Home and Retirement Village
This project was part of a broader program aimed at enhancing the functionality of existing facilities, modernising the internal environment, and ensuring the building met current Bupa standards.
The work at Cashmere View Care Home included a general refurbishment of all spaces, excluding the bedrooms, to improve the overall layout and aesthetic. The hallway was upgraded to meet Bupa's standards, with the addition of new fire doors for safety. A store was converted into a nurses' station, which significantly increased the functional workspace for staff. To enhance the communal areas, walls were demolished to create a larger lounge area, now featuring a designated dining space. The courtyard walls were opened up, connecting the existing lounge and staff rooms.
Additionally, the reception area and the manager's office were relocated to either side of the entryway, which improved the functionality of the space. The administrative areas were also reconfigured to optimise workflow and staff efficiency.
